Final Thoughts

Besides Hashimoto Honoka, Fan Siqi has also defeated other superior rivals such as Samara Elizabeta of Romania, Sato Hitomi of Japan and Mikhailova Polina of Russia.

Siqi employs her favored forehand as Sun Chen does and both players are excellent at counterattacks. However, Siqi uses the shakehand grip and her racket feature smooth reversed rubber whereas Chen adopts the penhold grip preferred by Asian table tennis players and the short pimpled forehand rubber that is ideal for an aggressive playing style.

Fan Siqi has competed in numerous leagues such as the WTT Contender Muscat, Qatar Open, WTT Star Contender Doha, Polish Open, Bulgaria Open, Belarus Open, Summer Universiade, and the Asian Junior and Cadet Championships.
